This Red Fox was lurking about the train station on our way up to the “Top of Europe,” Jungfraujoch. Was lucky enough to have the opportunity to capture some shots while we waited for our next train 🦊 Red foxes in the Swiss Alps are legendary for their cunning and intelligence, earning the age-old reputation of being “sly as a fox.” They expertly navigate rugged terrain by using stealthy hunting tactics, quick learning from human presence (such as exploiting food at mountain stations), and adaptive strategies to evade predators and harsh conditions—they are opportunistic survivors that think strategically and remember solutions in varied alpine habitats.
